For our Legisiative Action Team, the Washington's Legislative web site is a easy-to-use tool for mental health activists for MH laws, state statutes (Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and MH state agency policy, procedures and practices (WAC).  Two WMHRC's Co-Founders are proud of the work we did in the NCCC work group for the Consumer-Run Services Bills:  HB 1005 & SB 5753  http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?bill=1005

Consumer-Run Services Bill Work Group members were Clifford Thurston, New Century Consumer Coalition (NCCC); David Lord, Washington Protection & Advocacy System (WPAS); Steve Pearce, Citizen's Commission on Human Rights (cchr); Carole Willey, Holistic Health and Advocacy (HHAA); Marie Jubie, Brian Youngberg, Frank Jose, NAMI; and others.
